May Meeting | 'Dahlias' - Richard Ramsey | Tuesday 13th May, 8pm
We have the pleasure of hosting the GQT team for a recording of the show on Tuesday 18th February
The event is now sold out. However, please continue to register on the GQT page of the website and if any tickets become available we will contact you.
Get organised in 2020! A4-sized wall calendar with twelve months of fantastic photographs.
Available at the January Club meetings and from the Post Office, Fairlands, Guildford. See more on the Calendar 2020 page
Make sure you recycle your old Christmas tree - there are temporary recycling sites all over the Guildford area (until 17th January)
Be kind to Christmas houseplants - Don't overwater Poinsettias and keep Amaryllis in a warm, but not hot room
Tidy borders clearing old herbaceous stems and dead foliage and lightly forking over the soil
Begin pruning apple trees and pear trees but leave stone fruits (plums, cherries and apricots) unpruned until the summer as pruning these fruit trees now will make them susceptible to silver leaf infections
Plan your vegetable crop rotations for the coming season
Finish your seed orders for 2020
Remember to use a greenhouse heater or use fleece to protect overwintering tender plants
