A Month of Two Extremes
A cold May for most of the month with a biting north wind and a few late frosts and very cold nights, ony to be followed with the hottest May day and the warmest May night on record.  The poor garden doesn't quite know what's hit it, but as the pictures below show, it's all looking rather wonderful. Thank you to everyone who contributes photographs.
