Their lovely cat Ginny sunning herself on the shed roof and keeping an eye on the comings and goings in the garden. A spectacular planter with fuchsias (note the Pyracantha in berry at the same time). A reminder of the heat of the summer, and the thankful recovery of a Ceanothus that was blown over in the February gales.

More fruit, this time from an unsual Strawberry Tree (Arbutus unedo). The new flowers, loved by bumble bees are being pollinated as the old fruit ripens. The fruit is edible, but Peggy says she has yet to do a taste test!
