September Meeting | Mark Gregory - 'The RHS Chelsea Flower Show: A Life's Work' | Tuesday 8th September, 8pm
Despite the absence of rain for nearly two months, our Summer Show again proved that our wonderful members are still able to nurture some beautiful plants in their gardens, create stunning flower arrangements, take incredible photographs, and have the patience and creativity to make the most amazing handicrafts. Oh, and grow misshapen radishes!
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the show, either as an exhibitor or as a spectator or as a helper, and helped make it the enjoyable evening that it was.
Our special thanks go to Nicky Cornell for again being our brilliant judge for the evening and doing the seemingly impossible task of placing the exhibits in the horticultural classes.

Congratulations to everyone of the 27 members who put something into the show - it was an almost impossible year for having anything that looked even half-decent but you defied the odds and gave us a show. Well done too to all the members that entered for the first time. I hope you found the experience fun. Thank you.
