Shamley Wood Estate Garden Visit - 20th June 2025

A breeze and fair-weather cloud tempered an otherwise scorching June day to perfection as the Club enjoyed the wonderful hospitality of Claire Merriman at Shamley Wood Estate for a visit to her magnificent garden, in aid of the National Garden Scheme.  Over three acres, the garden opens up with different themes and styles that showcase a fantastic eye for garden design and use of plants, all with a stunning view from the Surrey Hills.  

Our sincere thanks to Claire for allowing us to visit and for making us so welcome.  The gardens were perfection and the cakes were divine.
