Visits to Members Gardens - Sunday 24th July

The first garden, that of Hilary Fletcher, was in a beautiful location right on the banks of the River Wey.  It was on a gentle slope down to the river with some lovely shrubs and trees.

The third garden, that of Vivien Cosgrove, was a small typically cottage garden on two levels.  With lots of herbaceous plants and a beautiful view over fields towards Guildford.

The second garden, that of Geh Watson, was a lovely manicured garden with lots of colour, fruit trees and even a loggia covered with a grape vine.

The fourth garden, that of Peter and Janet Sutton, was huge (just over 3 acres).
Very much a wildlife garden with  lots of vegetables and fruit.  They even had a pen
housing some 7 or 8 tortoises.

The afternoon finished with tea, sandwiches and cakes in the garden of Barbara Boyse.
Much enjoyed by everyone.
